Pros: Heats Fast, slides smoothly, precise temp control, creases with own weight.
Cons: a tad costly, but worth it.
The Bottom Line: It works very, very well. Solid feel, fast heatup, smooth glide, good steam, long cord, auto shutoff, reasonable cost for features.

Review: I had very specific needs when it came time to find an iron to replace the useless lightweight model that mercifully died.
I sew and quilt, and needed an iron for pressing seams open, as well as general ironing. Teflon coated irons are... |

Pros: Easy to use; easy to read digital display; gets the wrinkles out.
Cons: None, except for maybe it's a little bit heavy? Not sorry I bought it.

Review:
I just received my iron and used it this morning. WOW. Am I impressed! Took the wrinkles out of my cotton chinos like nobody's business. Steams beautifully, easy to read digital display and easy to use. Perfect. |

Pros: Excellent steam, light wt, digital read
Cons: none

Review: For several years we used a $100 Rowenta and thought "it's got to be the best because it's a Rowenta." Wrong! The steaming was weak and it leaked resulting in off-white/yellowish stains. My wife is notorious for leaving clothes waded up in the...

Pros: Great steam.
Cons: Turns off too soon.

Review: I'm a quilter and my irons get a lot of heavy use. This is the best iron I've had yet. In fact I bought a second one because generally as soon as I find a really good product, the manufacturer stops making it. I've had this iron a year and it...

Pros: Steam is great and ironing time is short. Iron glides on fabric.
Cons: Poor location of steam dial. It's easy to lower unintentionally.
The Bottom Line: This iron is relatively inexpensive. It's pricier than some but performs as well as or better than irons costing $100 more. Do you need to spend that on an IRON!?
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I have had the pleasure of being the proud owner of the B&D D2030 iron for a few months now and I cannot be more pleased with its performance.
My former iron, also a Black and Decker, was failing after 12 years of hard work. It was time for... |

Cons: For us, JUNK. AND, poor customer support.

Review: I bought this Iron based on a review from Consumer Reports. It was a great Iron that we used for less than 2 years (not heavy use either, probably less than average, maybe for an hour or two every few weeks). A few days ago it quit working. First...

Review: I just bought this iron as my top of the line Rowenta kept spitting all over everything. I love, love, love this Black and Decker, and wish I'd made the switch years ago.
The Black and Decker takes out creases in cotton like nothing I've ever... |

Pros: Long cord, steam and more steam and most of all no guessing on temperature!
Cons: Heavy when tank is full of water.
The Bottom Line: Great buy and fun to use! Does a great job - but it is heavy, just use that to your advantage to let the iron do most of the work
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Okay, let's face it, ironing is not a fun chore by any stretch of our imagination, but when you throw in a little technology and a great tool; well it is not all that bad. The Black and Decker D2030 has added a little F-U-N to this boring and...

Pros: mini lcd display, lots of steam, heats up fast
Cons: I don't like the cord, only 1 yr warranty
The Bottom Line:
The B&D D2030 Iron heats up fast, produces great steam, and has cut my ironing time in half. This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've always hated ironing because I've always hated my irons. I've always bought the cheapest models because I never really used them much, not unless I was heading to town and wanted my clothes free of wrinkles. They would tear up eventually and if...

Pros: Heats up fast and it's heavy, so you don't have to press so hard.
Cons: Didn't last six months with minimal use and ordinary care.
The Bottom Line: Don't even consider this iron; I'm betting anybody giving it more than 2 stars hasn't had it more than a week!
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I'd never had other than a lower-end or base model Proctor Silex or G.E. steam iron--none of which gave any cause for complaint except that some wrinkles took a lot of work to iron out--but one day I just decided to "treat" myself to what I thought...
