It makes other irons look like they're toys!

I can't believe I waited so long to buy a new iron!  I was using a wedding present from 37 years ago and it just didn't seem to get hot enough. After reading the reviews on irons in Consumers Reports, this one was a clear top performer.  My only reservation was that the Black & Decker Digital Advantage Model D2030 didn't have a non stick surface. It is definitely NOT a problem and I just LOVE this iron! It glides over every surface, takes tap water, has tons of steam, a burst steam and a burst spray for stubborn wrinkles.  You can set it to steam in the upright position and hang a garment over the iron or steam some material you don't want to chance ironing. When you iron a seam open, it really stays put. 

Most of all, I love the digital display. You can set it for whatever material you're ironing and it heats quickly and to the proper temp.  It beeps when it's ready, beeps when it's at auto shutoff, so there's no guessing. 

You can have steam at every setting as there is a dial for the amount of steam you want.  The iron is a lot heavier than my old iron, but that's a small trade off for something that works so flawlessly.  Self cleaning, although I haven't had to use that feature yet.

They've made a lot of improvements in 37 years! :-))
