Vtech 5808 5.8 GHz 1-Line Cordless Expansion Handset

We have had 3 of these phones (1 base 2 expansion) for under 3 years.  Purchased them at Best Buy in Canada.  They have all lost their ability to communicate with the base and now cannot be used.  The customer support at VTECH is horrible - and they can do nothing other than tell you to purchase new phones.  For a $400 initial investment and a lifespan of under 3 years - this is disgusting.  Save your money - and don't buy a VTECH product.  Its not built to last and when it does breakdown you won't get the service that you need.
