I just recently bought the Cuisinart Convection Oven Toaster Oven Broiler TOB-175BC and I love it. So far I've made pizza, roasts, broiled steaks, had toast, bagels and english muffins. Everything cooks very evenly and the convection feature is very fast and cooks evenly. My roasts have all come out very juicy and evenly browned.
While I haven't baked in it yet, I have checked that I can fit a pie dish, muffin pans, and casserole dishes which saves me from having to buy/store a new set of pans.
I already have 2 wall ovens and my husband thought I was nuts to want a toaster oven that could fit so much but he quickly changed his mind after he saw the compact size of the oven and ate his first couple of meals. And my 3 year old loved the pizza. The crust was crisp and the color was beautiful.
I can't wait for Thanksgiving! It's going to be great to have the additional oven space and I can already picture a hundred uses for it.
There's only a couple of things I don't like. The first is the rack design. You actually have to lift the pan over the rack to remove it but there is no handle to assist in the process. Not good when there's meat juice in the pan. This can be easily over come by removing the whole rack but that seems a little strange to have to do. The second is the control panel. The temperature is adjustable by 25 degree increments. I wish there was more flexiblity with that.
Other than that, it's a great product. Very well made. Small in size and big in features. I'd recommend it as both a good toaster and a good oven. Great for any size family or in any college situation. Worth every penny.
