Author's Review
I received this as a early Christmas/late birthday present from my family. They knew that I had been looking at this for quite a while, but never had the money to get it. I already have quite a few appliances in my miniture kitchen so this was going to be interesting to find a place for. My husband figured it out in no time since this convection oven is the size of a bread box.
This model comes in white and chrome, but I have the white version. The chrome costs $200 while mine costs $180. This has become a life saver in my kitchen already. It was used on Thanksgiving to make casseroles as well as bread. I have started using this on a daily basis since there are so many different settings to choose from you are sure to find some way to use it every day.
This has a heat sensor to ensure that the temperature that you set stays constant and precise. I have had the tastiest roast come out of this oven and I must say that this feature is why. It stayed moist and juicy. It did not turn out dry like so many things in the regular oven does. It has the capacity to hold a four and a half pound chicken or roast.
Convection bake- This technique uses a fan to gently circulate heat round the food, providing exceptionally uniform temperatures. This also cooks up to 30% faster than regular ovens do. You can use this to broil as well. It comes with a rack and drip pan. This has the best and easiest control touch panel of all. It has LED indicators for individual or combination settings.
The touch pad also has settings for toast, shade control, four slice toasting, bagel button, defrost, reheat, combination settings, and always even shade control. I will explain how this is set up. On the far left hand side of the control panel are the buttons to choose if you wish to bake, broil, or convection oven. Next to these are the temperature button and the toast button. In between these two buttons are the selectors for higher or lower temperature/lighter or darker toast. Next to this is the four slice button, defrost, bagel, and reheat buttons. Next is the timer/clock. On the far right hand side of the control panel is the clock/timer buttons, hour and minute buttons, and the start/stop button.
With this model being no bigger than a bread box it really easy to find a place to put this even in a small kitchen like the one I have right now. I use this for just about everything. If it is small enough to fit in here this is where it gets cooked. I only use my oven for what I have to. This makes everything so much more easily than a regular oven at a shorter period of time than what a oven takes. This also has a slide out crumb tray and two position oven rack with safety stop feature, cord storage, easy clean interior, and .5 cubic foot oven capacity. If all of this is not enough to make you salivate and want one of your own maybe the fact that this has a three year limited warranty will.
I have no regrets what so ever for wanting this. It would make the gadget lover or those kitchen challenged thrilled. My husband can even use this and he fits in the later two of the areas I just mentioned. I am so glad to have this and it makes my kitchen time shorter by a long shot.
