Cons:
a little hard to clean but no harder than any of my previous toaster/ovens
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this because it's much better than my previous B&D or Delonghi. Too bad Airmiles no longer has them in stock or I'd get a spare.

I've had my Cuisinart toaster oven for almost 2 years & it still works great. I've owned a few moderately priced Black & Decker models & an expensive Delonghi toaster/oven; this Cuisinart outshines them all.
The convection heating system is my favourite part of this unit. Who knew how a little fan could cause food to cook so quickly. My hungry kids can quickly cook their favourite snacks (fries, tater tots, chicken fingers & mini pizzas) in 1/2 the time it would take to use the larger oven. The Toaster oven heats up unbelievably fast compared to my old & my new oven.
Talking about ovens...I ended up buying a new Maytag convection oven because I loved the convection part of my toaster/oven so much. It really does make a huge difference in cooking time & the food seems moister. I still love to use my toaster/oven for smaller items & the kids use it all the time. We use the toaster oven daily.
In fact during the hot months of summer we use the toaster oven for all meals (feeding a family of 5). I place the toaster/oven on a table outside & I can bake & roast all day long. The heat stays outside & its fun to use.
Pros:
- cooks food quickly
- since its so small it heats up very quickly compared to a regular oven
- the toast is evenly toasted
- has an easy to remove crumb catching thingy
- the convection fan is very quiet compared to the convection fan in my Goldstar convection microwave. Which, I had first & I no longer need to use.
- the unit doesn't take a lot of room on my counter compared to the Delonghi I previously owned.
- it has different heights in which to place your foods. You can cook a fairly large chicken or beef roast.
- I love that my casserole pans can fit the large compartment
- I can bake small 9x9 cakes in the toaster/oven. I don't have to heat up the large oven for such a small dish.
- I love that I can use a muffin mix & only make 6 bran muffins at a time. If I heat up the regular oven, I feel obligated to bake alot at once.
- I'm not positive but I believe I'm saving money on electricity when I use this small oven. It takes a lot less time to heat up & it cooks faster.
- everyone in the family can use it & they aren't afraid to use it (they are intimidated by most of my other kitchen gadgets).
Cons:
- Under the glass door is a little hard to clean. I have to use a knife to reach under it to scrape the crumbs out. But that's really minor.
- If it was an inch longer, I could put an 8x12 pan in it. Imagine all the cakes & brownies I could make.
