If all you want is something to walk around with it is fine. But if you want to sit still and enjoy get something else.

This is my first review. I often check epinions before purchases so here is my chance to give back to the community.
I have had a few cheap USB direct plug in players and quickly outgrew them. I decided to spend the big bucks and get something with video and more memory. I have a mental block against Apple products and have used Creative speakers and sound cards for my PC's for decades so that is why I headed in this direction. I purchased this model because I loved the idea of the SD card slot, the FM tuner, and the microphone all built in. Had a great time the first couple of weeks burning CD's with the bundled software, it is really easy and only a few out of hundreds of CD's had problems burning.
The menu and structure of files is a little awkward at first but doesn't take long to figure out, probably would have taken more time to read the manual.
The video screen is great, good resolution. No complaints in the size department either, very slim and portable. I took advice given about the 16gb version of this product and upgraded my headphones to the little bose buds, never even used the ones that came with the unit. Sound is excellent.
BUT! I failed to do as much research as I should have and if I knew then what I know now I would not have bought this item. The unit itself is perfect. Everything I hoped it would be and more really, it just doesn't have any accessories. I just assumed that there was a docking station speaker system in the company's product lineup, maybe even a docking video screen thing. Neither is available and a company operator said they have nothing planned. Portable players are great for working out or drowning out city noise, but I am not going to wear headphones in my living room.
Shame on me for buying this and shame on them for selling it without a full range of accessories, like they have for other models. Last week I loved this item and was looking forward to getting a docking station and getting rid of the home stereo. Now I am wondering how much I will get for it on ebay and which ipod I will buy.
