Well Made, Stylish and Functional

I have been wanting to try a Zolowear ringsling since I discovered the joys and benefits of babywearing and recently got the opportunity when I traded a Mei Tai for a wonderful pink and cream stripe cotton Zolo.

The Basics: Zolowear cotton sling, now available in 100% cotton or stretch cotton, is an unpadded ring sling. There are a variety of colors and prints to choose from. The slings are available in 5 sizes, XS through XL. There is an easy to read sizing chart available on the web site. The sling can be used for a newborn, up to a toddler, the web site states up to 35 pounds but can hold more, especially handy for larger children with special needs. I would say that an average size three year old could be carried in the sling for quick carries. Ring Slings can be used for a variety of different carries, including cradle hold, hip hold, tummy to tummy, back cradle, back piggy back and some that you will invent yourself out of need at the time. The customer service you will receive through zolowear will be exceptional. As seems to be true with other WAHM businesses, there always is an extra amount of attention to the needs of the customer. The sling is easy to care for as it is machine washable but I usually hang to dry, just to ensure a longer life of the fabric.

What I Like: The craftsmanship on this sling cannot be beat. Just by examining the way the sling is crafted, you can see the care that is taken in the details and security of the sling. The design is top-notch. It has a very comfortable shoulder and secure fit and I can tell it will be used well past my 10 month old's first birthday. I can shop with her in this sling for up to an hour with very little shoulder discomfort and absolutely no back pain. The pocket is very handy and I just throw my wallet in there and we are set. The sling also has a toy ring but I have yet to use it, but the design of it is perfect, very sturdy and puts the toy right at my daughter's hands.

What I don't Like: I do wish the pocket was a little bigger because with my wallet and keys the pocket is full. I prefer a bigger pocket that will accommodate a diaper and small pack of wipes.

Bottom Line: I really have enjoyed using this sling and definitely recommend it to others. The price is a little steep, but seeing as mine was used but still looks brand new, it would definitely be passed down to younger siblings or on to another mom to share in the benefits of babywearing.
