Trying Again With the Roadtrip LX

Date of Review:  May 28, 2009
The Bottom Line: Spring draws us outside. Grilling becomes a must. The RoadTrip LX helps us meet that urge.
Review: When we got our Traeger Li'l Tex earlier this year we decided our Bradley Smoker and RoadTrip LXE Grill were now surplus to us. We found them both new homes. We love our Traeger but decided we missed our RoadTrip for quick steaks or burger prep. We...

Little Grill That Could!

Date of Review:  Jul 20, 2004
The Bottom Line: We HIGHLY recommend it! It uses less fuel and puts out more BTU's than other portable grills! Very portable! Easy to set up!
Review: So, what is it and why did we get it?

It's the little grill that could out-do the rest of them! We had been searching for a decent, portable, cost-worthy grill for months. We are avid campers, spending weeks at a time outdoors, and needed...

Five stores later and finally a great grill...

Date of Review:  Jul 1, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you want something portable, great looking, versatile, light weight, cooks fast and makes the neighbors jealous this is the grill for you.
Review: I love this grill. My daughter and I visited five stores and some of them twice looking for the perfect grill. Our last stop was K-Mart. Yes, K-Mart. Along a wall of many grills was an eye catching box with the NASCAR logo on it. I immediately went...

Great on-the-go grilling

Date of Review:  Jun 11, 2004
The Bottom Line: Forget the hibachi, the RoadTrip grill should be the standard on-the-go grill. It does a nice job in portable cooking, but don't toss away your back deck grill.
Review: For those who are tired of those cheap little hibachi-style gas grills, Coleman's RoadTrip grill is a godsend.

Unlike conventional gas or charcoal grills which are difficult or downright impossible to lug around, the RoadTrip grill's main...

A great product

Date of Review:  Aug 14, 2003
The Bottom Line: Overall this is still a great product. Especially outdoors in the wind. I just wish they would offer a chrome grill.
Review: I purchase the Coleman Roadside Grill on sale at Frys' for $119. I was only able to find the accessories on the Coleman.com web site. I ordered all of them. I was immediately informed they were back order of the stove adaptor, and the grill. Today I...

Great Grill

Date of Review:  Jun 8, 2005
The Bottom Line: Buy this grill, but spray the grilling plates before each use to ensure easier cleaning.
Review: This grill is awesome. You can grill with or without the folding stand, which allows you to grill in tight spaces that the stand can't fit. For example, I am able to use this grill in my boat even though it is not practical to use the stand.

Coleman Road Trip Sport Grill

Date of Review:  Jul 5, 2005
The Bottom Line: I'd buy this grill for the price if you don't want to spend the extra for the higher end RoadTrip Grill with the two burners and optional cooktop accessories.
Review: Bought this grill at Kmart for $140. when looking for a flexible alternative to my old rusted out big outdoor gas grill. I live in Florida, so I wanted a grill I could use year round and for after a hurricane, but one that I could stow easily in the...

A good looking, good cooking winner from Coleman!

Date of Review:  Aug 21, 2003
The Bottom Line: I think this is a good buy because the quality construction should give long, trouble-free service. The burner supply tube arrangement is much heavier duty than most grills.
Review: We bought this Coleman 9441-768 RoadTrip Grill for
use mainly at home. It performs very well and I
agree with the positive comments you can read in
the other reviews. However, since it came with
no wheels, I built a wheeled base...

The Coleman Road Trip Grill - A Slick Portable Grill!

Date of Review:  May 24, 2004
The Bottom Line: A great grill for use in the backyard, or away from home!
Review: This review refers to model 9941-765 (the Road Trip Grill LX), which is identical to model 9941-768, except the table base has two fold out wheels and a handle so the grill can be wheeled around much in the same fashion as an upright suitcase with a...
