Author's Review

If you're taking pre-calculus and you need a cheap calculator, get this one. My Casio served me through my high school years and on into college.

It's small, easy to use and fits into your pocket. Also, they make these calculators tough enough that if you're a rusher like I am you can throw it into the bottom of your backpack and it won't get destroyed by your books, cassettes, CDs and so on.

I'd upgrade if I were going into more advanced mathematics because you'll need something that can show you a graphing of the curves. Like I said, it's good for Trigonometry/Analytical Geometry/Pre-calculus.

Think of it as a geeky rite of passage: you can pass it on to the junior math nerds in your family once their time has come.
