Pros: Very easy to learn and use. Excellent overall performance.
Cons: Requires photo processing software to realize the full potential of this camera.
The Bottom Line: A tremendous camera for the money. Capable of producing professional quality images...with a little effort.

Review: I will not list all the specs for the little Canon EOS Rebel XT DSLR camera. The Canon web site can provide all the details; all I want to do is describe what it's like to actually use this camera and help you make an intelligent choice in buying...

Review: Overview
This camera should last me a good long time before I ever have the desire to buy a new one! I am an avid photographer and like SLRs as I've used one since I first began taking photos 30 years ago. SLRs are not for everyone, but... |

Cons: non-standard battery, button labels rub off the body

Review: I love my XT although there are some criticisms - none of which detract from its overall merits.
I'd prefer that the aperture be controlled by a ring rather than by a button and an up/down dial. I'd prefer that the internal... |

Review: I bought this canon XT 350 about 3 weeks ago, with Sigma zoom lens 28-300, I have taking pictures left and right, I love it.
I love the setting, I read the manual, very easy to learn and master. Lots of features. Good color for printing, I... |

Pros: I cannot think of one...
Cons: Expensive, soft focus, no preview in LCD, short battery life, operator interface is terrible...
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Image sharpness leaves a lot to be desired, with the default 18-55mm lens having "soft" focus no matter what the setting.
I've had Canon's Powershot G2 camera for years, so I was expecting similar quality with twice the resolution... |

Pros: What you see on the click is what you get Long battery life, ~300 pictures.
Cons: Indoor flash makes halos on blond hair. Outdoor use of LCD is too dim.

Review: I really like the point and shoot speed of this camera.
Most pictures turn out all right. Outdoors the clarity is outstanding. Indoor pictures with the flash DO NOT TURN OUT WELL when the subject has blond hair. The flash pours a... |

Pros: It?s a great product, but is it really $809 great?
Cons: If you're a nail-biter, the tiny buttons may be a problem
The Bottom Line: This is a nice camera, but because of the features available and the cost involved, this camera may be too much for many enthusiasts, and not enough for some professionals
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Canon and Nikon have been running neck and neck in the camera industry for a long time before the digital camera. With the Canon Digital Rebel XT, Cannon takes the lead once again. Lighter and smaller than the Canon Digital Rebel / EOS-300D, the...

Cons: Still a bulky camera for long trips, theft-prone?

Review: I am no expert at photography, and I tend to use the automatic settings a lot. Pictures come out perfect most of the time, except at night or with shiny objects when I need to think about it a little more.
