What a great steal!

The Bottom Line: I wholeheartedly recommend the Brother 9840, because of its great durability and quality, along with an easy to operate configuration.
When I started up my small partnership, my business partner and I needed a multifunction machine that did all the "little things."
As we evaluated potential products to purchase, we had several requirements in mind:
1) Under $1,000
2) Print/Copy 15 ppm+ in color
3) Be able to function on both Windows or Mac
4) Easy connection to phone line for faxes
While searching, we came across a couple of great printers, but none could match what seemed to be the "bang for the buck" that the Brother 9840 gave us. In fact, we went to Staples to look around, and returned the next day to purchase our machine.
After taking it back to our storefront from Staples (beware it is heavy...at least 65-70 lbs), we set up our new multifunction machine in the office. This may have been the easiest set of directions I've ever encountered, in terms of anything to do with office equipment machines.
One month later, business is fortunately doing well. The Brother 9840 has held up in a great way, and we are truly reaping the benefits of a superb machine purchased at a spectacular price. For any small business owner or for even a home office, I highly recommend the Brother 9840 multifunction machine.
