HL-1470N We like it.

We have had good luck with Brother printers so we bought this Network model. Our reasons were the speed, price and low cost per page. We are using XP and have it networked through a Netgear router to three computers. We don't have to leave a print server computer turned on, or even require one. Consumer Reports of March 2002 rated it as the top laser printer over HP, Samsung, Lexmark. We like it. It even prints and or sends emails, however we don't need this feature and most will not use it either.
We were simply tired of paying so much for inkjet cartridges when 99% of printing is Black and white.
