Best Value for Fast, High Quality SOHO Laser Printer

I purchased this model because it has two input trays and one additional manual tray, and it offered the most for the money. I bought this item for $305 including shipping, and I am very pleased with it. Its much faster at startup and continuous printing than my previous laser printers, HP 1320 and Brother HL-1670N.

It offers built-in duplexer which makes it convenient for two sided printing without having to flip it over to the other side of the page manually.

This model comes with Ethernet interface and usb, and has 32mb of ram which is more than enough for my needs. I need three paper trays because i use three different types of papers for my business, and I don’t like having to shuffle every time I needed to use a different paper type.

The 1200dpi setting is very high quality but I don’t mind just running in 600dpi mode to save on toner.

When compared to my last 3-tray Brother laser printer (HL-1670N) that I purchased 4 years ago, this one blows it away in every category, speed, quality, footprint, noise, aesthetics.

Just one thing missing is the 3-color LCD to better illuminate and describe printer problems and errors.
