Boys Life The Magazine

by   mjsreveiws ,   May 4, 2003

Pros:  For boys of most ages, is educational, and has lots of things to do.

Cons:  It is about Boy Scouts, you may need to have some experience to read it.

The Bottom Line:  I recommend this magazine to any boy that is interested in outdoor activities and also is looking for some fun.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

This boys magazine is one of the few left that both the child and the parents approve of. Because this magazine is focused on The Boy Scouts of America, it is extremely educational and informational, But in order to understand this magazine 100%, you may need to be familiar with the Boy Scouts. This is because they give Scouting tips, and talk about scouting. Even if you don't have Scouting experience, you still can enjoy this magazine. Some of the most common articles include: about 2-4 educational articles, 1-2 fictional stories, a few pages of comics, advertisements here and there, a couple added articles, Gifts and Gimmicks, camps and schools, a page of jokes, and a few random other things. You can usually subscribe for this magazine through a newsstand or at www.boyslife.com
