Pros: Decent (though not too revolutionary) sound
Cons: price, lack of options, watching Herbie Hancock lose his dignity in the infomercials
The Bottom Line: Not necessary & not the second coming of sound...
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: In an Epinion of one of their top-of-the-line speakers, somebody compared Bose to AOL in the way they have achieved a name for themselves mostly in the way they market their products, and not in the actual quality of the things they put out. Indeed,...

Review: We just recently got the Bose Acoustic Wave Radio at our house. I think it's better than any other radio I've ever heard.
First of all, if you shut the lights out, pop a movie in, and connect the VCR to your radio, you feel like you're... |

Review: The Bose name carries a lot of consumer clout. The Bose Acoustic Wave II Shelf System is a killer system in a small box.

Pros: Sounds great outdoors. The best "boom-box" you will find. Aux inputs helpful for iPod.
Cons: Sound quality just OK in critical listening. Muddy bass. Very expensive. IR remote vs RF.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for the best "boom-box" you can buy, especially for use outdoors, this is it. If you think this will replace a real stereo, it won't.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: For the money, the Wave should sound much better than it does. Don't be fooled by the "replace you entire stereo" hype, unless your stereo really stinks.
However, if you want a portable "boom box" that sounds great, and mini systems and... |

Review: I bought this product because I had heard it was a great sounding, compact unit. After I plugged it in and tried the demo CD, I was really amazed how much bass it had and how well it spread the sound. The demo CD contained nothing but real...

Pros: Extremely practical, extremely rich sound.
Cons: You might need to sell your car.

Review: Logic states that digitally reconstructed sounds will never sound as pure or clear as those which one may hear from an acoustic instrument played live; well forget logic, because the Bose Acoustic Wave Music System clearly does.
I bought mine,... |
