I purchased the Little Green Clean Machine model #1425-1 w/ pro heat option and Turbo Brush attachment when my kitty was sick and kept throwing up around the house. I found it to be quite effective for the purpose I was using it.
I had previously owned an older model of the little green clean machine which did not do nearly as well.
You can actually use cold water and this thing will heat it up. I actually keep solution in the clean tank and just clean the dirty tank part out before storing. That way it is always ready in case we need it.
The model that I purchased came with two nozzles. One is the standard type that sprays when you press the button and sucks up the dirty solution at the same time. I find this to be the most effect and easiest to use in cleaning up quick spills.
The other nozzle has a turbo brush that turns around when it is plugged in. It uses the suction power of the machine to do this. There is a switch on the turbo brush attachment to turn the brush on or off. It was a nifty tool but I felt the standard attachment did just fine for most applications.
The machine has an off and on switch as well as a switch to turn the "pro-heat" feature on and off. It seems that the heat feature will heat the water from inside the application tube because it comes out hot but the water in the solution tank does not feel warm. I especially like the heat feature because like I mentioned earlier, I can keep the Little Green Clean Machine ready to go.
I also tried the Little Green Clean Machine on some spots of unknown origin that had been on my daughters carpet for at least a year. They all came up with little scrubbing. I did try the turbo brush on these spots and again felt that the standard nozzle did just as well.
One thing that might be advantageous to using the turbo brush would be if you were doing a larger surface area. The nozzle does seem to do a little wider sweep.
Clean up for this machine I found was easier and more effective than the older model I previously had. I dump the dirty water in the toilet and then put the container back. Then I turn on some hot water in the sink and suck it up. You have to be careful not to overfill the machine. I do this about 3 times emptying the tank each time. I have not had any problems feeling that the machine was not clean after use. It is important to clean it out right away before anything can dry inside the machine. The clean up process really was quite easy.
