The Bottom Line: If you're on a tight budget, go for a Vector 985 - older generation, but great detection and filtering. Otherwise, try the RX65, Escort 8500X50... stay away from the 995!

Pros: Great Ka sensitiviy, does not false on Ka. Extremely sensitive K. Autoscan mode (great)

Cons: Falses on K band. understanding K falsing levels and duration makes this a non-issue..

The Bottom Line: I would not hesitate recommending potential buyers to purchase this unit. It will save you the expense of tickets and the higher insurance premiums that go along with them.
