Vector LR Remote

This is a really great radar detector. It works very well, better than most others I've tried. The only down side to this detector, and it can be a big one, is the installation. If you are not comfortable working deep down in your car, then have someone else do it. If you want it to look really nice (i.e. stealth), it takes a lot of work. It took me a couple of hours to route the wires invisibly. I mounted the display unit in the pull out ashtray, so when the system is off, you can't see any of it. Also, once installed, can't move to another car without re-installing. It works very well; great range and sensitivity. For example, once I was driving at night along a hilly road, when the detector went on full alert. I drove a full mile before seeing the cop car. Not a bad range, especially considering the terrain.
