Product Review

Great Stroller for those with with an age gap

by   kefira28 ,   Mar 9, 2008

Pros:  light, easy to use and travel with, turns well, good for travel/shopping

Cons:  cheap plastic brakes

The Bottom Line:  I would definitely buy this stroller again and wished I had done so even earlier. Don't wait, you can really use this one!

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

I purchased this stroller about 6 months ago from Burlington Coat Factory kids' department. Ok, my kids are 6 and 3 and 1/2. But son #1 tires out kind of easy and we do a bit of air travel. I just bought this stroller a few months ago and wished now that I would have bought it MUCH earlier. In fact I would have bought this when son #2 was an infant had I known how handy (and how much better it would be in the long run). I had purchased a traditional double stroller but by the time my older son was 3 and 1/2 he was almost too big to fit comfortable in a traditional double stroller. The sit and stand gives the older child much more room as they are facing you, and there is no enclosure to it to slide them into it. The front works very well for the younger child, including a shoulder harness belt and reclining seat. This stroller is easy to push, easy to turn, and is definitely MUCH lighter than a traditional double stroller. The downside is that like pretty much all the strollers I've owned the brakes are plastic and if your older kid tries to "help" with it and doesn't get the brake in the groove, it will break. Ours broke the first month we had it. Overall though, this stroller is excellent for those that have a bit of an age gap between kids, people who travel a lot or take a lot of day trips and need a spot for an older sibling to sit. Also good storage basket although hard to access when both kids are in the stroller.
