Works great but you need to keep an eye on it

We have had our Avent bottle warmer for over 8 months now. We originally started warming bottle by just using hot water in a cup. This was a huge improvement over that.

You basically add distilled water to the bottle warmer and it has a dial that you adjust for how hot you want the water. There is an on and off switch on the back of the unit. There is no automatic off on this bottle warmer so you have to stay with the bottle otherwise it can overheat. We can warm an 8 oz. bottle from the fridge in about 4 minutes.

The newer Avent unit or the higher end bottle warmer that my friend bought will bring the bottle to temperature and then automatically turn off which is a nice safety feature that this bottle warmer does not have.

The mouth of this bottle warmer is wide enough that it fits all bottles (I never found one that did not fit). It is also big enough to use on baby food jars but I have not used it for this. One important thing to think about is that you need to use distilled water so there is no hard water build up.
