Pros: durability, ease of use, battery life, good display
Cons: needed a new version of iTunes, volume level and young ears
The Bottom Line: Know someone who isn't familiar with the technology and wants an MP3 player? This is the perfect model to start a newbie out with, no matter what their age.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I know, some people are already scratching their heads wondering what an eleven year old needs an iPod for. Personally, I feel the same way. However, she was bound and determined to get one and saved her money all summer long from helping her sister...

Pros: Compact, stylish, excellent sound and volume, fast transfer, battery life, bright screen, price
Cons: 2 GB capacity might not be enough for some, no WMA support, no FireWire support
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the new iPod Nano 2 GB. It is an excellent choice in the 2 GB portable music player category. It has good sound, long battery...

Pros: Very user friendly, tons of extras, one-year warranty, great customer service, very portable
Cons: I've heard Apples have functionality issues, iTunes has a bit of a learning curve
The Bottom Line: Bottom line is that the Apple iPod Nano is perfect for everyone -- athletes, beginning techies and music lovers. It's got a little bit of everything!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I have been resisting the siren call of MP3 players for a while. After all, I rarely buy CDs and never download music... why in heaven's name would I want to purchase an MP3 player? What? To play the Frank Sinatra CDs I own? I can do that just as...

Pros: almost disappears in pocket, generally elegant functionality, beautiful design, very ergonomic, functional for size
Cons: Trades off some audio flexibility for size, no customizable EQ, touchy thumbwheel, headphones dangerously useless.
The Bottom Line: Buy this if you want an easy to use iPod that is small and if don't mind buying replacement headphones.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The 'file management' is a cinch.

Pros: Small, easy to use, more affordable.
Cons: Only has 2 GB, can't watch movies on it.
The Bottom Line: Buy a 3rd generation or a video ipod.

Review: ipod 2nd generation is good, but there is better. I say that for several reasons:
1.First off, it's the least expensive of all the other ipods on the market at this time, but your still paying over $100 for a feeble amount of memory. I... |
