This is hands down, the best looking air combat game available yet! The Gran Turismo of Jet Fighting!
Its not a simulation. But the graphics are simulation quality... better than the simulators used for real pilots!!!
There are 16 levels all with 5 or 6 different difficulty levels. As well, there is 2 player mode, including head to head and cooperation mode.
Additionally, there are time modes and other modes that open up as you advance in this game. You have many Jets to pick from and buy, as well as different color combinations available for each plane. There is also quite a lot of secret stuff yet to be discovered, just a couple of days ago I found and shot down the BlackBird!!! Its not supposed to be in the game!! Anyhow, the game is a bit short, but it makes up with so many extra's. This is a MUST have for anyone that likes this genre of game. I will never sell it. The graphics are near photorealistic, real light source, shadows, smoke, the detail is flawless on the planes. If you have a large screen TV, sit close to it. You will feel like you are moving!!! The ground texture is a little lacking, mainily because of the PS2's low texture memory but this does not detract from the game at all. Go out and buy it now!!!
Oh yeah, control is excellent, no complaints. Sound is the best I have heard. They use many digital recordings of jets, turn up your volume on your AMP. If you have a surround system, turn it on Pro-Logic and crank it up!!!
