Great True Courtroom Drama

Eight people in a small part of a small town get leukemia. The water in that part of the down has repeatedly smelt and tasted horribly. People eat mineral water, or mix the water with juice
to hide the wile taste. It is a common belief that industries in
the town have polluted the water and caused the leukemia cases.
This book is about the lawyer who led the team prosecuting
the polluting industries. They pay extravagant wages to experts to prove that the industries caused the pollution. They also pay high wages to speciality doctors, who investigate a large group of people, living in the same area. They find frightening results, all tested people had some neurologic faults and some faults in their cardiac control. All these are known as possible sideeffects of the polluted elements.
The defense team for the companies is successful in getting
the judge to organize the court sessions so that important
information is not given to the jury. The Jury has big difficulties, but I will not say more to take a way the thrill
of reading the book.
This is one of the most interesting and readable book I have
read in many years, and it is a true story, told about a real
court case.
