Petersen's, The Best for Technical Advice

I first started receiving this publication as a birthday gift from an uncle of mine when I first got my truck. From the first issue, I was hooked. I don't know how many issues I have worn out through these last few years. The reason is, they are just packed with technical information.

I have yet to pick up a magazine and not learn at least one new thing about the different vehicles that they feature. Another reason I like this mag, is that they do not feature show trucks. All the vehicles they feature are real world rigs that are actually used on the trails. This is unlike some other publications which will feature trailer queens lifted 15 inches with 28 chrome shocks and ridiculous graphics.

Petersen's technical articles are well written and provide plenty of photos with detailed captions. My only complaint as mentioned in other opinions is the expense of some of the modifications that they cover, which are really out of the range of a college student's budget. This, however, can be said of just about any other magazine out there.
