Pros: Even more power, refinement, Improved interior quality
Cons: No exclusivity factor, interior styling with optional packages.
The Bottom Line: Finally, a Mustang I could live with.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Over the past 25 some-odd years, Ford has tried desperately to make their Mustang look and perform like the original '60s fastbacks. If I only had a penny for every time Ford used the word "retro" or "nostalgic" to describe one of its new Mustangs...

Pros: V6 now worthy of the car, excellent value for the money
Cons: Low on refinement, traction in the wet, all of the expected weaknesses
The Bottom Line: The Mustang finally has a worthy base engine. Just get better tires and you'll be set.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Last spring I wrote a glowing review of the 2005 Mustang GT. It wasn't a perfect car--far from it. But as with the best cars its styling tells you everything you need to know, both the good and the bad. And every bit comes together to form a...

Pros: V6 acceleration fastest under $20k, trunk space has increased, tall people fit in front seats
Cons: Gas mileage is poor, lack of comfort in backseats, plastics abound, radio console looks dated
The Bottom Line: The 2006 Mustang V6 Deluxe Coupe has decent performance for it's class ($20k coupes), and handles quite well on the road. Just be weary of roominess, comfort and blindspot clearance.

Pros: Chassis. Engine note. Stereo. Seats. "Muscle Car" personality. Uses regular fuel.
Cons: Grabby clutch. "Muscle Car" personality. Interior materials.
The Bottom Line: A true modern Muscle car. If you love this type of car, there is none better for the money. If you don't, why are you even reading this?
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Apologies to women for the title, but "young person's car" just doesn't have the right ring to it, especially for the GT.
I fell in love with the '06 Mustang's styling the first time I saw it. Finally, after so many years of the... |

Pros: Fast,Looks Good
Cons: Rear seats
The Bottom Line: Great car!

Review: I drove this on a test drive, and I'm impressed. There's no better car on the market. Someone told me that there's a new Camaro coming out. I don't want it. I don't want to even drive it. There's no comparison, as the Mustang has returned! The...

Pros: Style, convertible operation ease, great handling, good gas mileage, front seat comfort.
Cons: No trunk release button, small back seats, bad rear visibility, limited interior storage space.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a sporty fun family car, this is it. Great on short trips.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I never thought I'd get a convertible, but the things sitting in my driveway right now. Not a Ford person, I was amused to find myself attracted to the newer "retro" style Ford Mustang. I loved the sound of the GT and the Roche (spelling?), but I...

Pros: Classic muscle car, and highest initial quality reports, plus usability unmatched in class.
Cons: For me, not much, except maybe I wish mods and upgrades were cheaper- LOL
The Bottom Line: Don't compare to foreign convertibles, and look for a used one with factory warranty. Forget the V6
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Enough with the V6 Reviews - I agree that the V6 engine is pretty crappy. Not enough engine for the noise, and not enough power for the gas mileage.
First, a little background on how my love affair happened-- I was wanting a... |

Pros: Sporty looks, Good MPG. FUN!
Cons: it's not a truck - I'm gonna miss my truck.
The Bottom Line: Until they build a truck that gets 26 MPG then a nice sporty car that does will do the trick.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I just purchased a 2006 Ford Mustang with Pony package and 5 speed. It is also a "Stampede" edition which is basically just a different emblem on back and badge on interior - but only 500 made.
I was interested in something with good gas... |

Pros: ~Nice modern style of the 60's
~Tons of features available Cons: ~Gas mileage might not be up to certain people's want or need
The Bottom Line: This is a car drivable in the city, highway, or even long distance.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: 2006 was another great year for the mustang. It holds the "new-age" version of the 60's mustang as the body style. The new body style mustang is only a year old, which could be good because they probably worked out the kinks from it's debut in 2005...

Pros: Great styling, V8 power, good handling, roomy interior, affordable
Cons: Notchy shifter, clunky suspension
The Bottom Line: Now that some of the hype has blown over, you can buy one for a fair price. Go for it!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: If you're in the market for a V8-powered, rear-drive musclecar, the Mustang GT is a great way to go. I looked at the new GTO (bland styling) and the Charger (no manual transmission), but with it's updated retro styling, 5-speed, and roomy interior,...
