3Com U.S. Robotics Faxmodem 56K Analog Modem (005687-02)

I bought this modem, the ISA non-voice model to replace the PCI model that came with this Dell computer. I cannot believe the speed difference is about 6K with the same computer and location. I replaced the other modem because it would be 1. slow and 2. sporadic downloads where I would have to use getright (download software). Since buying this modem I have not needed any software and I can start downloading and leave my computer confidently knowing that the download will complete which I have never been able to do. This is the best modem I have ever used and would recommend it anybody, I don't give praise easily.
