Cons: Expensive, ugly, too big to fit under your cabinets in one piece, big footprint

Pros: This unit will definitely get the job done.
Cons: It's big, a bit noisy, and takes up more space than most.
The Bottom Line: I'd buy a VitaMix again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Least food prep you could aspire to for a blender, least amount of waste.
Cons: Noise, size, looks. Cost, but not if you look at the 'big picture'.
The Bottom Line: IF you only want to buy one blender in your life, make it this one. You may never have to buy another.
