The MAGNUM introduces a unique BATTERY SAVER function that allows the unit to operate longer than that of the competition, more than 50 hours of operation. Of course the MAGNUM features all of the traits that you would expect in Handheld GPS. The MAGNUM displays course in North Up, Track Up or Destination UP, presents position in Lat/Lon, UTM Grid, LORAN TD's or British Grid.

Don't Buy A Magnum 40 GPS

Review: To sum it up:
I have nothing but problems, unit freezes up in the boat when you need it most.
Unit has been sent back to Standard Horizon and they say nothing is wrong with it.

When it freezes up the display it will remain frozen...
