Our gear reflects everything we've learned about how kids like to carry gear. The backpack has two outer straps for carrying a skateboard or sweaters. The back panel is padded and vented. A plastic headphone wire port protects an MP3 player from the elements. The roomy main compartment has a side pocket for a laptop computer or loose papers, and a small top pocket is perfect for milk money or bus passes. A cell phone holder is attached to the shoulder strap, where kids can hear and reach it.
