Great for Home videos, not for editing footage

I have found this camcorder easy to use to record home videos of my son and vacations. The picture quality is excellent when I plug it into our TV. I do not recommend it for taking pictures because there is no SD card slot so you have to use a different software to get the picture off of the DVD. Also I can not play the DVD in my MAC desktop because the smaller size does not play in upright DVD players. I have enjoyed it and plan on it lasting me a long time Pros: size, good quality picture, easy to use Cons: editing capability, compatibility with upright DVD players
