Pros: Good feel, easy menus, good video quality, MPEG format w/supplied software, battery recharger
Cons: No internal lens cap, no external lighting

Easy to Use!

Pros: Very good zoom! Excellent volume when played back. Easy to use.
Cons: Software is hard to use. Hard to understand how to edit/burn a movie to DVD.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this camcorder for use for family memory making. It definitely serves its purpose. We have had a chance to use it for vacation and it works well.

Cons: Jerky, POOR Backlighting, Difficult Software

Review: So, after reviewing camera after camera in the $500.00 price range I chose this Panasonic model. It was a coin flip between this one and the JVC Everio-G GZ-MG255. I eventually chose this one due to better reviews on this and other sites.
