PowerClass subwoofers offer many of the same state of the art features as the flagship DCX product, but with more modest power handling and price targets. The heavy gauge steel baskets are tooled to reflect the same cutting-edge industrial design as DCX, while supporting very good excursion driven by less massive conventional motor assemblies. PowerClass subs use the same, ultra-rigid foamed polypropylene cone technology, a good match for the DCX coaxial or component speakers. Their power handling limit is a very strong 500 watts peak, for use in systems with the smaller PCX amplifier models. These subwoofers offer a strong combination of competition-grade performance and good looks, making them a good choice for most mobile audio enthusiasts.
