Overpriced
The Bottom Line: Better than a walmart cheapy, but way overpriced. Buy something heavier with a real motor.

Review: My wife had this Oreck XL when we met, and she used it for an apartment. 16 months ago we bought a 2 story house, mostly carpeted.We moved it with us and tried cleaning the house with it until we bought a Kirby.

HOLD ON TO YOUR DOGGIE - ORECK IN THE HOUSE!

Pros: Light weight, compact, long grounded electrical cord, easy to clean and change the bags.
Cons: Hard to get to roller and belt for cleaning. Bags are a little pricey.
The Bottom Line: Take the Oreck for a test drive. It's at least worth the free 30 day trial if they are offering it. I think you'll be happy with its performance.

Nothing beats the 8lb Oreck......

Pros: Nice long cord, plenty of power.
Cons: no attachments on vacuum.
The Bottom Line: If your priority is good, thorough "no frills" cleaning, then the Oreck is what you're looking for.
