Soon, he finds that he's gradually becoming a vampire himself. An interesting candy-coated meditation on teen conformity with a great rock soundtrack.

Pros: The soundtrack and Keifer Sutherland
Cons: People actually love this movie?
The Bottom Line: It might have been good in the 80's but the 2000's say its longevity is very much lacking.

The Bottom Line: Unless you were born in the early 1970s, essential only for completists of Joel Schumacher, Kiefer Sutherland, or Jason Patric.
