Product Description

 
A fuel-injected, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine was standard on base and low-budget S Wranglers, as well as those with the Islander and Sahara option groups. A carbureted 4.2-liter inline six was optional on all but the S version and standard on the top-of-the-line Laredo. All 6-cylinder Wranglers could get a 3-speed automatic transmission to replace the usual 5-speed manual gearbox.

"My thoughts after a dozen years in my Wrangler..."

The Bottom Line: A VERY worthy and reliable vehicle. NOT recommended as your primary means of transportation though!
Review: Twelve years ago, I was swayed by the advertising blitz that Chrysler had under way at the time. They managed to convince me that "I NEEDED A JEEP".

Don't get me wrong; I figure that just about every adventure-loving young American male...

The Bottom Line: i recommend one to anyone living in ruthless climates, or nice enuff to drop the top in. cheap to fix, capable for any terrain. i feel safe in my jeep.

$7500, not counting my trade in. i live in pittsburgh, so the natural terrain is extremely hilly, and we get about 4 - 5 months of snow a year. affter being burned by the old front...

The Bottom Line: I have never had a more reliable vehicle than this Jeep. It is now 14 years old and on it's second owner and it's still going strong.
Review: Ever since I was a kid watching Mork and Mindy, I've wanted a Jeep Wrangler. Mindy always looked so slick driving hers against the backdrop of the Rockies.
