Product Description

 
Antilock rear braking was standard; 4-wheel ABS optional, but only on the LS. A 5-speed manual gearbox was standard; electronic 4-speed automatic optional. Part-time 4-wheel drive included a floor-mounted transfer case lever and automatic-locking hubs, and was not intended for use on dry pavement

It's great...until...

Review: I owed a '92 Trooper that I bought new for about 6 years. I bought it because in spite of Consumer Reports' article stating that it was prone to tipping, I thought it was very reliable and I got an excellent deal, as I was buying at year end.

Review: Model Info: 1992 Isuzu Trooper S (base model) with 3.2L SOHC engine (175HP rating), automatic, part-time 4x4 system, no power windows, no power locks, steel wheels.
