UV Filter for Lens Protection & (a little) Haze Reduction

Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, Easy-to-use, Protects camera lens, Reduces haze a bit

Cons: None really

The Bottom Line: I?d wouldn't recommend this filter for its haze-reduction capabilities but considering how it can protect a camera lens at a low cost, this filter is a must have

Review: While advertised for its haze reducing capabilities, the vast majority of people get a UV filter for their SLR camera lens because they want to protect the lens from scratches and dirt.

That was the reason I purchased the 77mm UV filter...
