Defective upon delivery - too much gadgetry

Pros: Good looking (for a fan), blows nicely, a number of options and features
Cons: The electronics may significantly shorten its life
The Bottom Line: Too much gadgetry threatens long-term use of this.

Review: This fan is controlled by a dozen little buttons up top, and a remote also.

You set the breeze pattern, the fan speed, the oscillation, and the time duration... oy vey! How about just an old fashion low/med/high??

Very good for the price, especially in small spaces

Pros: Economical, portable, light, quiet oscillation, good for small spaces, variety of breeze settings, remote controllable
Cons: Can't angle the fan's direction up or down; it only blows the air straight ahead/side-to-side.
The Bottom Line: If you have a small space and small budget, this is a great fan -- lots of features and not a lot of shortcomings.

Pros: Affordable, Lightweight, Circulates well
Cons: I don't have any!
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this fan to anyone! The cost and functionality are the main reasons. The Holmes name is another.
