Product Description

 
After debuting last year, the 2006 Ford Five Hundred sees few changes. Leather upholstery is now available on the base SE model, while the SEL and Limited versions can be outfitted with a Family Entertainment System including a rear seat DVD player. A navigation system is also optional, but only on the top Limited trim level. Silver Birch is the single new color for 2006.

The Bottom Line: I definitely would recommend this car to families with three or fewer young children as an alternative to a minivan.
Review: In the continuing saga to replace my 2002 Saturn which was totaled in a recent accident, I had the opportunity to rent a 2006 Ford Five Hundred. My first car was a 1975 Ford Elite that I bought 15 years ago and held onto for a full year.
