The CLP-2701e prints 203 dpi at 7 ips on up to four-inch-width labels. Its ARCP system eliminates ribbon wrinkling while printing and removes any wrinkles introduced during ribbon loading within inches of running. Registration is improved because of Accurate Print Positioning that eliminates slippage between ribbon and different types of media. This is all done through direct thermal/thermal transfer technology. You can print dozens of barcodes, including two dimensional, and a variety fonts making the CLP-7201e a versatile printer as well. It also uses a Datamax DMX-400 emulation and a moveable media sensor.Its versatility also reaches to its connectivity with automatic detect/switching from parallel, RS-232C serial and USB ports. Also optional internal Ethernet and WiFi interfaces are available.The CLP-7201e's 1MB Flash ROM, 2MB of DRAM, and optional 4MB flash memory card slot allows you to meet large printing demands and download fonts and label formats.
