Complete flexibility in a film camera

Pros: Fully automated but also allows full control. I love this camera.
Cons: Some infrequently used options will take time to learn, a little bulky
The Bottom Line: If you want to do serious photography but are not a pro, this is the camera for you.

My Canon (EOS Elan7) Shoots everything!!

Pros: Great for fully automatic or fully manual, and anywhere in between.
Cons: Can be a bit bulky if you're used to compact point & shoots.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this camera to anyone serious about photography. A "point and shoot-er" could use it, but it's pointless if you won't use any of the features.

Very nice body from canon

Pros: Quite rugged body, light weight, lots of custom functions
Cons: No AF assist light, no backlit LCD screen, not weatherproof
The Bottom Line: The absolute necessaty for a canon film SLR shooter.

Review: I am an advanced amature. Previously I used the original Elan (1992 model)and Rebel 2000 bodies. However Elan 7 ( bought used) is the best bang for my money.
Features- all idiot modes plus P, AV, TV , M and DEP modes surely put you in command...
