Pros: Works excellently, affordable, good sound and video quality.
Cons: Collapsable headphones might not stand much use.

I got a lemon

Pros: Can play lots of different kinds of discs. Easy to use. Big screen.
Cons: Didn't work!
The Bottom Line: If you get a good one this is a great deal, but don't be surprised if you need to exchange it a few times to get a usable one.

Review: After reading reviews on LOTS of different portable DVD players, I figured out that I probably had a 50-50 chance of getting a lemon no matter which brand I picked. So when I saw the audiovox 1708 on sale at BJs for 159.99, I thought "what a deal"...
