Woodwind and Brasswind

I ordered two trombones, one right after the other. When the first arrived I wasn't sure I liked it so I ordered the second one to compare. Once the second one arrived (different make & model) I clearly liked it better, so I sent back the first one, as well as accessories that wouldn't fit the second trombone. WWBW was very cooperative and straightforward about arranging the return and posting credit back to my card. I'm a big fan, and felt well treated in this set of transactions.

The web site is well organized; dynamic pages made it wasy to shop. Customer reviews were very helpful. Compared to other on-line merchants they took a long time to ship my order--they DID advise that standard shipping would take 8 days or so, but three out of the eight days was spent waiting for the package to leave the warehouse.

Well-defined and described product line on the web site. Great pricing, cheapest I found for the identical item. The experience was great. The purchase was large (dollars) and they called me and my credit union to verify that my card belonged to me which I appreciated and I was impressed by. The madolin was a birthday gift for my son - (turned 21) so it was a very significant gift that I had dropped shipped to him at college. He was very excited about it and of course it was so well wrapped/packaged that it added to the fun of his receiving this big box with the mandolin so cautiously wrapped. I ordered 3 boxes of clarinet reeds. Two were ok the third was a different style of reed. I have used them and they seem to work ok, but I would rather have what I ordered. If a substitution is necessary I would like to be informed first.

I've had a number of satisfactory experiences with WWBW.

As for the relationship betw. WWBW and Music123, if you go to any domain name "whois" lookup, you'll discover that the both domain names are registered to the same person at the same address. I assume that the person who registered both domain names is either the owner of both companies or related to the owner.

Initially I had serious doubts that WWBW is Music123. After receiving some spam from Music123, I compared the headers in the emails. We have, unfortunately, a match. This may only mean that Music123 bought WWBW and left management intact.

Whatever their affiliation or ownership, I bought Sibelius 3 academic/church with photoscore bundle and am VERY pleased with the price, customer service and speed in delivery. I got it within a week, and their customer service department answered every email faster than any other online company I've dealt with. I emailed them because the stock picture was slightly different than the description and I wanted to make sure of what I was getting...and they assured me that the description was accurate. They sent with my purchase a woodwind catalog--the selection is mind-boggling. I now check there first when comparing prices for items and accessories like microphones and music stands.
