Their price was excellent. I was a little disappointed that after purchase I was told the item was back ordered for 3 weeks. I called them to see if they had any other dyson models in stock but they did not. My vacuum came about 1.5 weeks later so I was pleasantly surprised! Item was excellent and the price can't be beat. Nice customer service too!

i didnt like the idea that they knew the product was out of stock, listed it for sale, took my money and then said they dont know when they are getting them in, i did like their customer service because they contacted me in a day when i emailed them to ask what the hold up was.

The good thing....low price! The bad thing...When out-of-stock they didn't email or contact me in any way to let me know they were out-of-stock! Before I placed my order, I had no idea they have a page that lists the items that are out-of-stock.
Call them to verify they have your product in stock BEFORE you place your order! Unless you don't mind waiting. Placed my order for charcoal water filters for a coffee maker on 2/23 and received the order on 3/15 |

They had good prices, but turn around time is WAY too long. Tracking system is just about non-existant. Calling the company is almost as unbearable.I'll never use them again. They seem to have a good site on the surface, but getting an answer is too much trouble.

Very frustrating. After seeing that my order had not shipped, I sent e-mails and finally left voice mail. A week after I placed the order, still having heard nothing, I cancelled the order. They did respond to that.

Very bad shipping policy !!
Order was placed on Dec 19th 06. Email received that order has been shipped on Dec 26th. The tracking system shows order was picked up on Dec 27th the Tracking system initially showed expected date in home as Jan 6th 07. This was automatically revised to Jan 9th 07. Today is Jan 10th and so far the order has not arrived. Their website very ambiguously says that they will decide if the order should be shipped by 1st class, 4th class or parcel direct mail and there is no commitment of when one can expect to receive the order. My order is very simple - just a set of vacuum bags. Its senseless for me to wait 4 weeks to get them !! |

Do not buy from this merchant! They post merchandise as being in stock when it is not. I've never received my order from them even though they charged my account for the product. They have a very poor tracking system for deliveries. Useless. I am being forced to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Customer service is "customer no service." AVOID THEM!

I ordered a work bowl for my Cuisinart food processor. When I hadn't received an e-mail confirming shipment, I checked their list of back-ordered items. It was not listed. About 2 weeks later, I was told the item was back-ordered. 5 weeks after ordering, I finally received the package but it was the wrong item. I e-mailed totalvac and waited 5 days for a reply. They wanted the number printed on the bowl. I immediately e-mailed the information. I guess I now wait another 5 days for their next response.
If I have not gotten this resolved by the time my credit card bill is due, I will contest it with the CC company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ENJOY AGGRAVATION. |

A fine site, for the most part. Better inventory control would have allowed me to be notified when I placed my order that a critical item was not in stock. Failing that, the invoice received with the other items should have informed me as to how long the out of stock item would take to show up.

TotalVac had all of my items but one that they could not provide as ordered so they substituted the item with a different color and did not charge me for them item. I thought that was a very customer focused gesture on their part. I will shop this merchant the next time I need vacuum cleaner parts.

I wish that I had done a little more research before placing an order with this place. They had my vacuum hose but I will probabley never get it. They do have my money however. Sadly I used Paypal. No answers to my e-mails and phone listed on company info seems to be no good. BEWARE!

Slowest to ship of any online merchant I have ever dealt with. Even when my item is claimed to be in stock, a week later it still has not shipped. Their prices are always the lowest but if you need to receive your product in a reasonable amount of time, don't use this merchant.
