I placed an order on 3-16-2008. None of my orders were on back-order. I expected delivery within a few days, no word. I finally sent them an email about my order. They replied 2 days later that one of my items was on back-order and they should receive it within 2 weeks (????????) Funny, I checked their back-order list and my item still isn't listed as back-ordered. Still waiting........Shipping policy sucks. They could have told me my item was 'out of stock', but no! I had to send an email inquiring about my order. I keep waiting, and waiting, and waiting......It wouldn't be such a big deal if I didn't need to vacuum my floors. I guess I will have to go to the oreck store for my bags, which I was trying to avoid in the first place because it isn't exactly close by.

This was my first experience with Totalvac. Their site was easy to navigate and purchase from. However I would strongly not recommend Totalvac because of their shipping policies and customer support. I placed an order on 2/13/2008 and was charged through Paypal that same day but heard nothing from the company until I contacted them on 2/22/2008. I had checked the status of my order, it was not shipped, and none of the parts I ordered were on back-order. In answer to my inquiry, three days later, they told me one of the parts was back-ordered, had arrived, and would ship on 2/26/2008. It is now 3/5/2008 and I still haven't received my purchase. You should only use this company if you have a lot of patience.

In all my years shopping on the internet, this has got to be the worst experience. Do not buy from these people. They are totally disorganized and have no business being in business. Placed my order in early November and still is not completed. One item was on backorder which stalled the entire order. Calls and Emails to them were not returned. Finally did speak with someone who seemed mystified why partial order did not process. I cancelled the backorderded item and the order then shipped next day, but only partially. One other item was backordered. Credit card is billed immediately so beware! Calls about the missing item and Emails again are being ignored and I get no person answering the phone. They seem like a two person garage operation. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

When you purchase a product from a murchant, well customer service is number one. Also when you ship an order and there is a problem, PLEASE let the customer know about it. It also took awhile for the money to come off of my debit card, why I don't know. I liked the low price, but the service, well I wish I was the manager of your service department. They do not ship a partial order if one item is back-ordered. They do not tell you this when your order is processed. You just sit and wait and wonder why it hasn't come yet. Then you go to their website, put in you order number and they say gee, your order hasn't shipped yet, maybe something you bought is back-ordered. Then they provide you with a long list of back ordered items for you to weed through and see if you can find the one you ordered. Nonsense! Bad e-commerce, bad customer service, bad communication. Well-worth paying a couple dollars more to deal with a smarter on-line merchant.

Ordered Dyson vacuum on June 7th 2007. Have not received it as of June 22nd. I have an e-mail and two calls inquiring about my order. I finally got a live person today. Said because I used paypal that the order did not get through to them although they did have my money. Now they have my order straightened out and the shipment will not be in until the 29th of June..... They will let me know when they send my vacuum to me. What about the 3 day shipping????? I expected the vacuum early June. We'll see if it comes in July!!!!!!

Claimed they had the product 'in stock' but 20 days later it still did not arrive. Checked the order status and it stated it was on back-order for yet another five days. Did not receive any updates via email that the item was not available. In fact, it shows it currently in stock despite the backorder status on their customer service page.
I did not receive any updates from the company besides an order confirmation. When I called to check on the status, I got only voicemail. I called my local Ace hardware and they had the same model in stock but $110 more. After checking the site, they price matched and I am going to pick it up this evening. Online shopping is great when you work with a reliable and speedy merchant. Worked through dealtime to find the price. I did check through many shopping sites and their price was the best. However, they claim the item is in stock on the dealtime search results page. Their product page does not state any different. Great price on mosquito magnet but follow-through was not to par. |

We purchased a vacuum on May 20, 2005 via the website. We have yet to receive our purchase and we get a different shipment date when Dyson is shipping another shipment of vacuums to totalvac. Totalvac ADVERTISES that the product we ordered WAS in stock and would ship in 3-5 business days......if we would have known ahead of time that this purchase would be such a hassle to receive, we would have paid $150 more to just go to the store to pick one up ourselves. I placed an order with bath and Body Works last Thursday and received my order via U.S. mail this past week. We are very dissatisfied with totalvac and will not make another purchase from them again!

The new o-ring gasket that seals the bottom of the Osterizer was just fine, but the lid was too big, probably because the model is so old. Perhaps the catalog description should read "fits square top Osterizers made since..." instead of "fits square top Osterizers."
