Shopping for a mouse for my toshiba laptop. Checked Toshiba website and found the mouse i was looking for at a great price and affordable shipping. Order placed, two business days later i was sent the tracking information. Watched tracking and it arrived on the day Toshiba said it would.

The item I paid for was offered for free if I had purchased any other Toshiba Computer. You had offers for free merchandise if you buy certain items but no offers for other top of the line items. You certainly didn't make any friends offering free items on the same page as where you had give aways.

If I receive the computer on the promised delivery date it will have taken 20 days from the time I ordered the laptop to the time it was received. In addition I ordered a backpack from Toshiba and it STILL has not shipped. I expected some delay for a custom build computer but what is going on with the backpack??? Unitl I receive the backpack I can not submit my refund request (maybe that's planned that way). We'll see how this WHOLE transaction washes out.

Toshibadirect.com was extremely easy to do business with. I was very pleased that my credit card was not hit until the product actually shipped. Product was shipped as promised. Overall it was a very pleasant transaction, and I am very happy with my Toshiba Satellite 500.

I do not know if I would shop at Toshiba again. I have to date not received my purchase. Also, it took a longer time to assemble and ship the computer than what I think are common industry standards. From the time I ordered it to the time of its ship date was 8 days and I am being generous by not counting the ?normal? business days. I have no idea when it will arrive here. I did not receive a UPS tracking number from Toshiba in order to track the packages. I think they should have sent me that tracking number. Without the product I cannot comment further.

Many days after the order, we were sent an email that our home phone number doesn't match our address. We don't even have a home phone!! At the time of the initial order, we gave a valid credit card with a cell phone contact number yet nobody called us. What's more, the email stated that Toshiba has been trying to contact us (not true) and that our custom order would be canceled that day unless we contacted them. Customer service rep was far from friendly. No tracking was available to find out the status.

everything good but on one item i paid for 2day air delivery and received in 9 days, which is ok but never got credit for shipping charges and was still charged the full 2 day air delivery. order #3c24k9. was ordered on 8/2,shipped 8/7 and recieved 8/11. like i said everything is ok but why should i pay for 2day delivery and get it in 9 days...it is not the matter of extra$4 bucks and some change, it's the principle of running your shipping charges. let me tell u a short story. i got interested in minis and since i have 3 dell and also 15"toshiba, i ordered from dell the mini. this was before i say toshiba mini. dell screwed my order and took them 3 weeks to process. i returned it and went and bought the toshiba mini from local bestbuy and have been very happy with it and recommend it to all. bottom line: I am very happy with my mini and it is exactly what i wanted it. I hope my experience with toshibadirect will continue to be in good standing.

But the rebate form was difficult in having to apply on line then send in 4 upc labels. this is odd since i bought the product from them and they shipped it. seems a lot of busy work and messed up the boxes i keep - especially the laptop box.

I have to purchase Toshiba proprietary products from Toshiba Direct for their notebook computers. Toshiba Direct telephone sales people do not know the products well enough to give correct answers about compatibility or even what products are available. Web site is lacking on critical information such as listings for compatibility AND does not match computers to all compatible/available accessories. One has to really want to buy an accessory from Toshiba to put up with these inconveniences. It is much easier to buy a notebook from TD, than the after market pieces.
