Excellent,Excellent,Ecxellent is the way to discribe my shopping experience. When I called to complete my purchase the customer service rep was so nice. I asked how long will it take my order to get to me [West Palm Beach Florida] by ground shipping he said five to seven business days, that was on a saturday, I could not believe the merchandise was at my door the following wednesday afternoon in a condition like brand new.I was impressed. Oh! I forgot to tell you it was a refurbished cumputer.I saved almost $300 and it was like new. I think they made a mistake and send me a new one,"Shhheee, don't say nothing" Just thanks to Toshiba...

I ordered one computer and changed my mind about it.I decided I wanted a different one. I put an email in customer service and a very polite man helped me exchange it before the first one was suppose to be shipped out. It didn't happen and now I have two computers. I would like to ship the computer back, but the gentleman will not return my phone calls. Maybe he's on vacationl?
I will be upgrading next year with my tax return for the computer I really need for school, but three computers is out of the question. How should I return this second computer?

Very poor customer service. I placed the order on Septeember 27, 2009. I called on te 28th and asked why my order was not yet in progress when I checked its status on-line. They said because I gave them a cell phone number it could not be verified and until I provided a "verifiable" phone number, they would not process thee order. At which time I provided my home phone and expressed my dissatisfaction with their very poor customer service. They made the excuse that it is their policy to not start the order completion process until they get a verifiablel number because it causes them a financial risk. When I asked for a supervisor they said one was not available.
I continued my order in any case, even though I received this poor service. However, I then contacted Toshiba on Monday, October 5th to check on the status on my order and I was told that the factory in Shanghai China was shut-down during the week of October 5-9 because of a Chinese holiday.
When they suppied this information they said I would not receive my order until October 27, 2009.
Within a day or two my learning of this Chinese holiday delay I cancelled the order. When I placed the order on 9-27-09 I was led to believe it would take 10 working days to process the order and should receive the order on or about October 13, not two weeks later, October 27.
This cusomter service and order processing was pathetic. I will seek out another laptop manufacturer other than Toshiba or Dell, as customer service and product quality at both companies are pathetic.

Evidently, the credit processing department couldn't verify my billing address for my credit card (billing address has been the same for 12 years).
They suspect the problem was multiple businesses displayed at the same address. (My billing address is a Mail Box etc. type place.)
JUST a PAINFUL process and I still don't have my lap top.

It was good EXCEPT that I was supposed to get a FREE computer case. It hasn't been mentioned since I made my order. I thought I was supposed to pick it out. Also, I'm supposed to receive Windows 7 when it comes out, also free. I really wanted the laptop bag, they looked like nice ones and that was one of the reasons I bought from Toshiba.

I recieved this order faster than any of the orders I have made in the past 3 weeks. I bought a Toshiba 10 1/2 Net Book @ Best Buy in Citrus Heights CA at Best Buy Store. They cant even get my wireless card to work so I have not been able to use my new computer at all with this Virgin Mobile Card. It is though the coolest Net Book! I just want to use it.

For a number of years, the majority of my shopping has been done via the internet. My recent experience with buying from the Toshiba website has been one of the best online experiences I have ever had.
I originally purchased Toshiba's mini notebook computer because I was having surgery that would require me to be in the hospital and subsequent recovery facilities for a significant amount of time. What I had not anticipated (but am so pleased occurred) is the amount of "see-it-in-the-flesh" advertising I would have the opportunity to provide for Toshiba--even as I am writing this, a doctor just stopped by to thank me for all the information and the "free demo" I had given him yesterday, and to let me know a family member was going to your website today to order exactly what I had bought!
And the interest expressed in your product has come from both younger and older males and females, representing diverse racial and ethnic groups and across job classification levels, including housekeeping staff to doctors and surgeons! What a fitting way to express my sincerest thanks to Toshiba for providing a fantastic shopping experience to purchase a truly high-quality product, and all at a price that met or significantly bettered what I would have paid at the numerous other internet sites and/or stores I investigated prior to placing my order.

I was very impressed with the shipping. My product arrived two days early even! That was much appreciated. Two things that could be done better: (1) it took a very long time for Toshiba to actually take the money out of my bank account. I do not know if this was because I went through PayPal or not, but it would be nice to have that money taken out more quickly so I wasn't checking my bank all the time for my balance. (2) I am having difficulties fulfilling the requirements for getting my copy of Windows 7. As I ordered online, I did not receive a traditional Purchase Order and when attempting to submit my information via your website, I am told that my Part Number is incorrect. I checked my part number numerous times to make sure that I had the right number and was entering it in correctly. So, anything that can be done on that front to make the process easier on the consumer would be nice. Other than that, I absolutely love my new laptop and I am VERY pleased with my experience with Toshiba and the customer service, which has been helpful and friendly. All around fantastic. Thank you for everything!
