Purchased Norton Anti virus 2005. Product description says retail packaging and shows a box. Retail packaging my hiney, this was a disc without retail packaging; Furthermore, even more egregious, advertised as retail but this disc (I bought two) was from a Dell OEM system, that's just outright illegal advertising. Not thrilled was a generous comment. Otherwise, quick shipment with tracking info.

Excellent price and service! I ordered 2 iPods. They have been shipped and delivered on time. There was 1 USB cable missing, but after contacting their customer service the cable was shipped with 2 days UPS delivery. I am impressed and happy with Tech for Less Online Store.

Although the description indicates that the product was an opened box item with few minor scratehes, the imperfection was a little more severe. The screw legs that attach the front panel to the box were all broken off from the fac panel and the power button in front is very loose. These two 'imperfections' were more major.

I purchased Ergotron DeskStand 100 from this store and I'm very pleased with the overall process. The email notification was good, shipping was prompt, and the packaging was good enough to survive a nuclear attack. Plus, the product is better in quality than I had expected and the directions on the manual are so clear that even George W. Bush can follow and not screw up. Overall, a very positive shopping experience.

When I contacted customer support to determine why the order hadn't shipped in a week, I almost got the impression it was lost. No-one knew what I was talking about. Then on the second day I got a call saying the order would ship that day. I believe it did as it arrived several days later.

I was surprised to find a camera store who was willing to actually sell me the camera I was looking for without trying to sell me the rest of the store. I called and talked to Erik who was quick and very easy to talk to. I had been shopping for the Sony HDR-HC1 HDV camcorder. I asked for overnight FedEx but due to weather conditions in the Colorado area the Fedex truck could not make it. To compensate they gave me UPS Next Day for free. I found that customer service was available via email even after closing hours. Erik tracked my item and sent me emails as to the tracking progress.

They do sell open box items which sometimes can be a disadvantage. The good thing is this place has a 30 return on their items if you are unsatisfied. I found my open box camera perfect with every item Sony listed and in sealed blister packs.

I would suggest to anyone looking for gear to give these guys a shot.

Late on a Thursday evening, I rushed into Tech For Less because I needed a computer immediately. I explained to Joshua Thomas what I required and desired. He took care of me very quickly and in a most professional manner. While he asked about peripherals, software, etc., he was not at all pushy. The computer he sold me is exactly what I wanted. I appreciate being treated courteously by knowledgeable staff, and I intend to shop at Tech For Less whenever I have computer-based needs. Ordered a few accessories for my Dell Axim at a GREAT price - a Rhinoskin hard case and a travel kit. Items arrived on time, and in described shape. One was open box, but everything was exactly as stated on the web page, the other was a sealed box item. Unfortunately, they had described the travel kit as a "Dell Axim travel kit", without specifying that it is an Axim X5 kit. I contacted them, and they IMMEDIATELY offered to refund the purchase price, and even sent me a pre-paid UPS label. I am incredibly impressed with this level of customer service from a deep discount web shop, and would shop there again without any hesitation.

Epinions listed Tech for Less Online Store as having the best price for the Canon EOS 20D I was looking for. When I linked to that site, I had to go through three iterations before I could even find Canon digital slrs and when I did, this model was not even available. Thumbs down for the big bait and switch.

I just ordered a Sony Clie PEG-UX50 "open box, missing non-essentials." The salesman was able to tell me exactly what would be missing (wrist strap and paper manual), so I knew it was worth saving the extra money. He also gave me his personal extension in case anything went wrong. I got a UPS tracking number the next morning and the thing arrived in 3 days (to WI). I am happy with the Clie so far, and I will definitely buy from techforless again!

I would rate this company as being very unprofessional. When our company placed our order online they did not process the order and we had to call numerous times to speak with a representatives because they would not return our voice messages. Once they finally shipped our part it was the wrong part and we had to return it and order from another company because we had clients waiting on the parts. Very poor company and very unprofessional. Would never do business with again.

Packaging could be better - I purchased an open-box printer from them. They removed the toner cartridges but neglected to remove the toner waste cartridge resulting in the printer being coated in toner when it arrived. It cleaned up well, however, and the printer operated fine. The fuser failed shortly after it arrived (within 100 pages) but that appears to be a premature failure and Xerox sent another via overnight, then sent a tech out when it didn't fix the problem. Tech-for-less support was a little slower, so I already had the problem addressed by the time they e-mailed back. Overall I'm satisfied.
