I have been very disappointed with the website Smithandhawken.com for poor responsiveness. For Christmas 2001, I ordered 4 items to be delivered for Christmas. There was no indication on their website of out-of-stock or shipping delays. Two weeks later, 3 of the 4 items had still not shipped, nor was I contacted about the delay. So I had to cancel the remaining order and make other gift arrangements at the last minute. This year, 2002, I decided to give them another chance and placed an order on 12/04/02. As of 12/12/02, their website states that 3 of my 4 items have still not shipped. And their website doesn't provide me with any tracking info on the one item that did ship. I won't use them again. I do say, I have shopped at their retail stores and been very happy with their in-store customer service. They should improve their website service, out get out of the web business.
